Biography

Morgan Moné is a Jamaican-American full lyric soprano from Detroit, MI that strives for musical excellence! With her Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) Degree in Music from Kentucky State University and her Master of Music (M.M.) Degree from Middle Tennessee State University, Morgan continues to explore various avenues of music: teaching, performing, recording, composing, producing, editing and publishing.


At Middle Tennessee State University, Morgan served as a music adjunct professor for 2 years. She also taught private voice lessons at Murfreesboro Voice Lessons where she taught all age groups and hosted semi-annual showcases for the students.


Morgan has been cast for numerous roles such as the Countess from Le Nozze Di Figaro by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Lakmé from Lakmé by Léo Delibes, Frasquita from Carmen by Georges Bizet, the Witch from Into the Woods by Stephen Sondheim, and many more.


She recorded with TNT Studios in Louisville, KY for a children's bible study CD titled Keeping Your Space Clean and Green composed and produced by Dr. Barry Johnson and was a chorus member in a recording of Disney's Hunchback of Norte Dame with Casteel Music in Nashville, TN. Morgan also composed, recorded and produced, her own CD titled Love Chronicles in 2014 and Meraki Fire’s Rhythm of Venus  with bandmate Shelby Shelton in 2019.

Currently, Morgan resides in the Metro Nashville area and is the Production Editor for Jubilate Music Group. Outside of work, she teaches private voice lessons, and is the singer/songwriter of the alternative R&B group, Meraki Fire.
